A Cry for Justice!!!

During Sunday’s Shona service at United Family International Church service where Prophet Makandiwa was ministering one woman cried out towards the end of the service.

The Prophet asked her what was wrong and she said that her husband, Last Maengahama had been convicted of murder but she maintained that he was innocent of the crime he had been convicted of. The case she was referring to is the murder trial of the MDC-T activists who were convicted of the murder of Police Inspector Mutedza, 5 years ago in Glen View.
A Cry for Justice!!!
Prophet Makandiwa said that he was made aware of the case since her husband was a member of UFIC. He went on to say that on the day the murder occurred it was on a Sunday and Last was in church and it was during the blessed day celebrations. He was even captured on camera as he went to the alter to give his offering.

All the video evidence was given to the responsible authorities and was produced in court but still the courts insisted that Last Maengahama was at the crime scene. What baffles the mind is how he could be at the crime scene and be in church at the same time the murder occurred in Glen View. The footage provided was not even edited as the master copy was the one given to the investigating team.

The prosecuton said that video’s can be doctored and even had the temerity of asking why UFIC took the video of that particular service. The Prophet explained that all UFIC services are recorded. He said the church almost landed in trouble for providing the evidence that would exonerate Maengahama. Since the court was bent on securing a conviction they chose to disregard the evidence.

Prophet Makandiwa told Maengahama’s wife that he was praying for her husband and that God is in control and that he is a fair God. Justice will prevail. At the time of writing Last Maengahama is on remand awaiting sentencing.
