he “Aahh! Fest”, which is scheduled to take place on September 24-25. The festival will have live performances from top artists like The Roots, Bilal, Vic Mensa, Jeremih, Sir The Baptist, Tink and Taylor Bennett.

On the other hand, Lamar is making an appearance in his fellow rappers’ albums. Australian electro-pop singer Sia launched her new music project week. It had a track called “The Greatest” featuring Kendrick Lamar, according to TIME.

Travis Scott’s new album ‘Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight’ also has Kendrick’s song. Kendrick will be featured in the song “By Any Means”, and it will be track No. 8 on ScHoolboy Q’s next album “Blank Face”.

Earlier, a report had claimed that J. Cole will never bring out any musical projects because he is retiring. This is due to him mentioning the word “retirement” in a song.

“N***as murkin’ each other, in murky water I try and swim / How the f*ck do I look when I brag to you about some diamond? / Said all I could say, now I play with thoughts of retirement,” the lyrics reads. According to Cole’s fans, he will not be taking an early retirement. Cole’s retirement rumors often make noise on the internet.

Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) President Dave Free has said that the Kendrick-Cole joint album will take more time than expected. “Of course they’re two of the biggest rappers out, but they still have to keep grinding.  There’s so much work that they have to continue to do. A joint album does sound great, but people need to understand, these are two geniuses. 

These are two creative guys. It takes a long time for one of them to get in a space to create a song, so to get two of them in a space to do that, it takes a lot of time and energy. It all has to be a singular project, but it just can’t happen overnight,” Free said.
