The day before, four soldiers (Sergeant Teh Julius, Master Corporal Foula Foula, 2nd Yinda Class and 2nd Class Noutchoumwo) had been killed in the same area.

To these murders, we must add those of Constable Major Djolay Bienvenue, Chief of Staff Hinma Dieudonné, the student Constable Sallé David and the 2nd class Yaya Emmanuel, occurred in the North-West.
