Election 2018: A Candidate Promises To Release All Prisoners of Biya |
Pastor Jonathan Nti is also considering whether he is elected to release the prisoners of the Operation Anti-Corruption Epervier in Cameroon because according to him, people left at liberty are more suspicious than those who are thrown in prison.
The candidate intends to set up a National Commission for Reconciliation and Justice which aims to repair the injustices committed against people wrongfully detained in prison.
In this vast judicial reform, the penitentiary administration is not left out. Jonathan Nti is considering sanctions against prison staff who violate the rights of prisoners, the creation of 4 prisons in each department (Cameroon has 58) a juvenile prison in each department and a prison of high security in each region for dangerous prisoners, improving the living conditions of prisoners through the recruitment of cooks, launderers ... in prisons, a limited number of prisoners in each prison, etc.
