Enough for some dignitaries of this community politically opportunist, call their members more loyal to the President of the Republic, Paul Biya, the man who, according to them, embodies the values of peace, stability and social progress.

As to show his support for the Head of State, El Hadj Relouanou Charaboutou, President of the Association of Muslim elites for the development of Cameroon (ASSEMDEC) and former President of the Wouri II section of the Democratic Rally of the Cameroonian People (CPDM) , party of the majority, undertakes to pay on behalf of the president of his party and head of state, Paul Biya, 30 million FCFA representing the deposit for his candidacy for the 2018 presidential election.

If some believe that the approach of the happy donor is akin to a positioning, the latter replies that it is rather a political commitment and support to the Head of State who should not give up his power when the country runs the risk of implosion.

El Hadj Relouanou, who is also involved in humanitarian causes, believes that he is not trying to create buzz because Paul Biya has the means to pay his bail. And even if the president refused his contribution, he will have shown his will and that of his community to support him.
