The world-famous relationship gurus Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt invite you to join them
Do you know how to talk to your partner? Like really talk with them in a respectful, constructive way when tensions are high? What about your mother? Or your children? Or your Facebook friends whenever Hillary or Trump is brought up?
Communication plays SUCH an important role in our overall happiness and well-being. If we can’t find ways to have life’s hard conversations WITHOUT the participants feeling attacked or unsafe, our relationships are going to suffer.
If You’re Sick Of All The FIGHTING, Then THIS Event Is For You |
On February 11, 2017, you can participate in the first and only global relationship workshop devoted to showing everyone how they can feel more valued, safe, and connected in their relationships.
And you can do that from the comfort of your own couch. (How cool is that?)
Starting at 9:30am CST, you can livestream the Safe Conversations 360 workshop, which is the brainchild of the married relationship gurus Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt.
Hendrix and Hunt have spent their lives working and innovating in the fields of therapy and couples counseling. They’ve also written multiple best-selling books, including the acclaimed Getting the Love You Want: A Guide for Couples.
While many people know the couple for developing the Imago Relationship Theory and Therapy, what they’re trying to do this weekend with their Safe Conversations workshop is truly ambitious.
They want the world to learn how to talk to each other with CIVILITY.
Can you imagine that?
It seems like such an alien idea in the age of trolling, online rage, and gaslighting — the idea that two people coming from two different perspectives could actually sit down, have an empathetic conversation with each other, and not start screaming.
It feels impossible, but the Safe Conversations program teaches people how to do exactly that. And it makes the world better. It make us actually listen to the people in our lives, it reduces rates of domestic violence, it makes the idea of talking out your problems feel SAFE… which is extraordinary.
Here’s how the Safe Conversations program describes its mission: “We teach people how to have an effective — and safe! — conversation. Our goal is to inspire a relational world by providing couples, families, and organizations with communication techniques proven to strengthen relationships at home, work, school and everywhere.”
This weekend’s Safe Conversations workshop is the largest relationship event and broadcast IN THE WORLD and, while anyone can livestream it, the workshop itself is open for free for anyone to attend in the city of Dallas, Texas.
One of big, broad goals of Safe Conversations is to raise the joy index of the ENTIRE city of Dallas. Here’s the mayor of Dallas talking about the workshop’s lasting impact:
Isn’t that amazing? Isn’t that big? (Texas-sized big.)
If you feel like you simply can’t talk to your wife or husband anymore without it devolving into fighting, this seminar can help. If you’re struggling with talking to your friends because of who you each voted for in the last presidential election, this seminar can help.
So why not give it a try? It could change your life. (And it’s free.)
