Controversial urban grooves star musician, Rockford “Roki” Josphats who had sneaked out of the country to neighbouring South Africa about eight months ago “dodging” the police after it was alleged that he assaulted his girlfriend, Nyasha Valerie, is likely to be forced to return home after the death of his mother Florence Josphat nee Masona in Chitsvatsva Village in Seke.
Since he “vanished”, Roki appeared to be enjoying life across the Limpopo and seemed unbothered by what awaited him at home after it is alleged that the “fight” had caused Valerie’s miscarriage that forced her to report the matter at Borrowdale Police Station in Harare under reference number CR879-8-16 for assault and theft of property.Mother's Death Brings 'Fugitive' Rockford “Roki” Josphats Back Home |
“It has been difficult to get hold of Roki, who was in South Africa, but they managed to get hold of him and he is likely to be in the country on time for the burial as mourners are gathered in Seke,” said the source.
Roki’s late mother is said to have once worked in the Zimbabwe National Army’s transport department before her retirement.
