China Flies To Rescue Chantal Biya Foundation

Food and household goods handed yesterday to Secretary-General Habissou Bidoung by Ambassador Wei Wenhua.

The work done by the Chantal Biya Foundation for the supervision and care of children and vulnerable people in Cameroon, did not leave the Chinese ambassador indifferent. Yesterday again, as tradition, His Excellency Wei Wenhua has donated many gifts to this structure created by the first lady of Cameroon in 1994.

It includes food and cleaning products valued at nine million F. And to explain this steady surge of generosity, the ambassador said: "We really appreciate what the Chantal Biya Foundation is doing".

According to the Chinese diplomat, "the Chantal Biya Foundation has been helping poor people for many years. I would like to pay a heartfelt tribute to the name of the Chinese Embassy in Cameroon and to my personal name, to the First Lady, Her Excellency Mrs. Chantal Biya for that ".

This gesture will not be the last. "The Chinese Embassy is willing to continue cooperation with the Chantal Biya Foundation, to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people. And this donation is intended for the poor populations of the North West and South West regions. It illustrates the deep sense of friendship between China and Cameroon, "he concluded.

Action welcomed by the Secretary General of the Chantal Biya Foundation. Ms. Habissou Bidoung thanked the Chinese Ambassador for these supports, which will certainly improve the last months of care for vulnerable children, their main target. Indicating in passing that the humanitarian action of the first lady is not limited to the only Foundation Chantal Biya.
