Paul Biya Will [Finally] Go To L'Elysée After Several Negotiations

Cameroon's head of state, Paul Biya, is expected to stay in Paris in the coming days. 

According to information received by CameroonWeb, the Cameroonian president is expected on December 11 in the French capital where he will take part in the Paris climate summit initiated by Emmanuel Macron.

According to some diplomatic sources, meetings have been going on for several days at the Cameroonian Embassy in Paris to prepare the arrival of Paul Biya. Our source also specifies that no official meeting has yet been announced for the time being in Paul Biya and his French counterpart.

Since his election last May, Emmanuel Macron has not yet received Paul Biya at the Elysee Palace. According to indiscretions, the Cameroonian president would have played his networks several times to be received at the Elysee in vain. 

The two heads of state were, however, both present on 29 and 30 November in Abidjan as part of the AU-EU summit.

Touring the continent since last week, Emmanuel Macron has visited several African country leaders including Burkina Faso, Ghana and Algeria. Paul Biya will [finally] go to L'Elysée after several negotiations
