War Ambazonia: Anxiety Is Rising!

The secretary general of the Social Democratic Front (SDF), the main opposition party in Cameroon, Jean Tsomelou, Thursday criticized the "strong militarization" of the country's English-speaking regions.

According to him, the government has deployed "thousands" of men to fight the separatists.

"The northwestern and southwestern regions are heavily militarized," Tsomelou said in an interview with AFP.

The opponent lamented "the loss of life on the side of civilians and security forces".
