Future Generations Of Anglophones Will Be 'Time Bombs'

At a time when all Cameroon and its diaspora are wondering: will it come or will it not come? as a result of its mismanagement of the Anglophone crisis, it should be noted that Anglophones do not have the opportunity to mourn their deaths by the hundreds. 

Their villages are still heavily militarized, families dislocated, with several members arbitrarily detained or "disappeared", not to mention the climate of terror that still prevails, attributable only to FAP (armed forces and police). Mourning is a prerequisite for dialogue. 

For this, displaced and Anglophone refugees need to reach their villages, with the guarantee of living in safety like other citizens.

Anglophones must at least bury their dead with dignity and then freely mourn. Survivors also urgently need psychological counseling. It is the responsibility of the Government. This is done elsewhere after the least tragedy.

Alas, the African in general think that after a psychological trauma, this therapy is a "white affair". Proof that black societies are societies of psychopaths. Only to see the tragic and shocking images that many publish or share cheerfully on Social Networks to be convinced.

In order for survivors and survivors of unfair FAP massacres in English-speaking areas not to become feared "time bombs", they must mourn their deaths. How? First, the "First Cameroonian", "First Magistrate", "Father of the Nation", "Supreme Chief of the Armies", the very one who makes the rain and the good weather, must RESIGN or no longer apply to his own estate.

But before, if there is still an ounce of humanity in him, he is responsible for investigating a judicial inquiry, aimed at establishing the various responsibilities within the entire security apparatus, that the Law Contemporary humanitarian international calls "war crimes" against Anglophones.

Then give the floor to Anglophones in the public sphere, and listen favorably to their complaints. The pacification of North West and South West requires it. If no, no dialogue will be possible. It's time for denial and contempt to stop! As we know, the Ministry of Communication instructed the traditional media in Cameroon not to give any interviews to Anglophones. 

And it is with much censorship that their leaders, as well as the Francophones who support them, express themselves on the radio and television channels of the country. Let us also remember the note of the Minister of Justice, which promises to watermark, to remove the activists of the Anglophone cause, with the help of the secret services. Because in Cameroon of Paul Biya, the "justice" is orders. We are aware of it.

This is the "ba: ba" of the media war, underlying the ideological war. Those of the Government have as objectives: to whiten Biya with great strokes of brushes and to legitimize the bloody repressions of his FAP, with strong reinforcements of vuvuzelas.

It is finally on the Social Networks and the foreign media that one can feel the pulse of the right anger and the sadness of the Anglophones. This does not help the Nation, in a perspective of dialogue and reconciliation. By muzzling them, it will only delay the explosion of violence that is already bubbling in them.

Finally, each survivor of the killings in the English-speaking area must be the subject of a personal and collective psychological follow-up. Survivors of the Nyos, Nsam, and Eseka disasters also needed it. With the difference that the latter freely expressed their sorrow and sadness, and were consoled by the whole Nation. One of the fundamental manifestations of power is compassion.

For the political "living-together" that we promote, although it is more of a societal requirement, it is essential to consider the risks of suicide, self-destruction and even acts of hatred among Anglophones. have the characteristics of social movements. The social fabric is falling apart and will become more so, as long as the Government and all the Francophones do not foresee any concrete saving measures. It also consists of dissociating oneself from the discourse that makes them "terrorists". For no fraction of the people was in power, should boast of speaking "in the name of the people." Anglophones killed since October 2016 are our greatest contemporary martyrs.
