Ambazonia: An Official Arrested For Secessionist Support

After the incarceration of officials at the Ministry of Secondary Education in 2017 who praised secession, another supporter of the split of Cameroon exercising in the administration was unmasked in the North West region.

As a result, Julius Bawe Njeya is suspected of providing logistics to some armed groups to facilitate their activities in the northwest and southwest.

Julius Bawe Njeya, until now in service to the Departmental Delegation of the Economy, Planning and Spatial Planning (Minepat) for Granny (South-West Region) is accused of having supported the " Ambazonia Defense Forces (ADF), "one of the rebel factions on the ground. 

He was previously heard by the senior divisional commander, Chamberlin Ntou'ou Ndong, who reportedly heard of this story after anonymous reports.

According to certain reports, Julius Bawe Njeya is accused of having financed the activities of the ADF and of having provided the members of the said group with topographic maps of the administrative unit. Arrested, he was heard by the police.
